The search for the balance between environment and development requires creative and effective strategies and policy mechanisms. We offer expertise in the analysis of public policy and political process as well as evaluation of national and international strategies to tackle the challenges of climate change, environmental governance and sustainable development. We use multiple tools, including the application of social network analysis to policy arenas to improve information-flows and collaboration, communication with policy-makers via preparation of briefs and multi-media presentations, and creation of systems to monitor and evaluate policy implementation on the ground. Our experience includes work with REDD+ policy, assessments of the status of national-level forest governance, and contributions to forestry legislation and environmental policy.
